Antler score calculator
Type in your tape measurements for a whitetail, mule deer or elk and get the gross, typical net and non-typical net scores as you go, Boone and Crockett style. Every deduction is explained under the totals. Nothing is sent anywhere: it all runs in your browser.
Score from a trail-camera photo instead: Tinewise, an iPhone app, traces the beams, points and circumferences on the picture, every line drawn where you can check it. Coming soon to the App Store.
How each total works
The frame is the spread credit plus every right and left measurement: main beams, typical points and circumferences. The spread credit is the inside spread, up to the length of the longer main beam.
- Gross: the frame plus the abnormal points, with nothing taken away.
- Typical net: the frame, minus the side-to-side differences, minus the abnormal points.
- Non-typical net: the frame, minus the side-to-side differences, plus the abnormal points.
- No-spread composite: both sides and the abnormal points, with no spread credit.
Differences are taken on every matching pair (main beams, points, circumferences), never on the spread. Typical vs non-typical works through a real buck both ways.
